In an intriguing turn of events, Apple has lost its battle with Samsung where they claimed that the Samsung Galaxy tablet stole ideas based ont he Apple iPad. But the Judge involved said that while they lost, the Galaxy Tablet wasn’t as cool as the iPad which is a nice bit of publicity for the iPad. But the final twist is the order by the judge for Apple to apologise to Samsung, in print and on its website about accusing Samsung for copying them.
On the face of it, it’s a PR disaster for Apple, who would want to have to pay for an advert to say sorry, and also take up prominent space on your own website to do the same thing. But I bet they don’t take it lying down and I would put good money on the advert being a very insincere advert with wording that maybe doesn’t exactly work in Samsung’s favour.
So what sort of wording could they come up with?
We at Apple, sincerely apologise to Samsung that its Galaxy Tablet isn’t as cool as the iPad
Apple apologies to Samsung for claiming its Galaxy Tablet is as cool as our iPad, we are now aware of our mistake and will not do it again.
What do you think? How would you word it?
