Lock-down has inspired a lot of people to think differently about what they are doing and how they do it. How to keep training going for University Officer Cadets through the Pandemic was the inspiration for 2Lt Edward Thody and JUO Matthew Llewellyn.
They wanted to create a better system to engage with tactical training, empowering a scalable solution to allow “wargaming” along the lines of a TEWT (Tactical Exercise without Troops) but one that can be conducted synthetically as well as int he same room.
In this podcast, Barry discusses the solution that they came up with and what benefits they see it bringing to wider military training, whilst juggling with the complexity of not being able to name the system itself….
If you want to know more about the system, please email me at [email protected] and I can put you in touch.
